Concluded our Residency at the Irish Museum of Modern Art on Thursday after a wonderful and productive 4 months and have moved directly into our brand new Gallery and Studio Space on Marrowbone Lane. Keep your eyes peeled for developments.
At the invitation of the artists of the Atelier de La Ville En Bois in Nantes the six members of the Basic Space Board of Directors are temporarily abandoning their home country and their ordinary identity as a single curatorial unit. Coincidentally coinciding with our project Basic Space Press (during which we are experimenting with the dissemination of immaterial art objects) we are taking works which are representative of our six practices with us from Ireland to France, in real life.
